The Windsor Essex County Health Device announced 79 new substantial chance conditions of COVID-19 in Windsor and Essex County on Thursday. The Health Unit lists 34 hospitalizations today (increase of 8), and 4 of those hospitalizations are in the ICU (increase of 1).

  • Windsor Regional officials said in a news release that a visitor visited a patient in the hospital and removed their mask while with them. The visitor later tested positive for COVID-19 and unfortunately passed on the infection to two patients in the same room, leading to an outbreak declaration for the 8 East floor at the Ouellette Campus.
